| Biographical Information : |
| I am from El Salvador, and came up with my family because of the war. I have been involved in radio for 15 years, and started out at Free Radio Santa Cruz 96.3(now 101.1) FM Monday nights to give teenage parents a voice. I was a teenage parent and now i am teaching students in the SFUSD to use radio as a tool for the betterment of their communities. I began to volunteer with KPFA about 8 years ago on La Onda Bajita, and help out with many aspects of the show. I grew up in the Barrio of Beach Flats in Santa Cruz, and now I live, and work in the Bay Area. |
