Summary: Featured speakers/guests:
Aloe Blacc recently said, "My purpose for music is positive social change." He started as a hip-hop artist in the 1990s, and then transformed from rapper to singer, without discarding his hip-hop spirit and social awareness.

Since launching his solo career in 2003, Aloe Blacc has played all over the world. With "Wake Me Up," the 2013 mega-hit he sang and co-wrote for Swedish DJ Avicii and saw climb to #1 in 102 countries across the globe, Aloe Blacc proved himself a singer/songwriter with an irresistible power to capture the complexities of human emotion.

Sunsara Taylor on the Supreme Court abortion decision. The Supreme Court has overturned the horrendous Texas anti-abortion law HB2, rejecting its anti-abortion restrictions as an "undue burden" on women's ability to obtain an abortion. This means that the remaining abortion clinics in Texas will be able to continue providing abortions to women, and this is a blow against a whole spate of similar anti-abortion restrictions which have been passed across the country. But this is not the end of the War on Women.

Sunsara Taylor is a writer for revcom.us/Revolution newspaper, and the founder of End Pornography and Patriarchy, the Enslavement and Degradation of Women (StopPatriarchy.org)

Charlotte Silver will be talking about New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's recent executive order to create a blacklist of institutions and companies that engage in the boycott, divestment, and sanction (BDS) movement against Israel, and requires the state to withdraw investments in these blacklisted companies. Charlotte Silver is an independent journalist and regular writer for The Electronic Intifada who has been reporting from and about Palestine since 2010.
Aloe Blacc (soul artist, vocalist and songwriter); Sunsara Taylor (Writer, revcom.us/Revolution, a founder of StopPatriarchy.org); Charlotte Silver (Journalist, Electronic Intifada)
