This program is a retelling of what staff of KBMF, a community radio station from Butte, MT, observed over 4 days in November 2016 at the Oceti Sakowin camp on North Dakota Hwy 1806. We conducted interviews with individuals in the camps and during the demonstrations on Backwater Bridge on November 20th.

The piece features interviews with members of the Oceti Sakowin camp, as well as academics and intellectuals visiting the campe from around the world. It also details the events of Nov 20th, 2016, when Sophia Wilansky was severely injured during late night demonstrations on Hwy 1806 during confrontations with police.
