Dr. Morris' 1999 book Eden built by Eves was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Awards and was the first comprehensive volume on womens music concerts and festivals and their importance in shaping late 20th century Lesbian identity.

Currently Dr. Morris lectures at both Georgetown and George Washington Universities.

TODAY, Bonnie Morris reads from her newest chap book sixes & sevens. This chapbook is an insightful look back at some of the most important moments in her young life that helped shape her in becoming an intelligent and powerful woman. This reading was originally presented live on Pacifica Station KPFK in Los Angeles on my radio program Travel Tips for Aztlan.
