Summary: Featured speakers/guests:
Billy Preston came out of the blues and gospel scene of South Central Los Angeles as a child prodigy playing organ at an early age with the likes of Mahalia Jackson and Nat King Cole before touring the world with Ray Charles and Little Richard. Later he was known as the 5th Beatle after becoming the only musician to receive credit on a Beatles recording. He scored a handful of number one pop hits during his solo career. Despite this legacy, hes nearly forgotten in the mainstream and is not in the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame. Author Steve Bergsman discusses all of this in his new book, The Friends of Billy Preston. A historical work of fiction that documents Billys involvement and tremendous contributions with the most important musicians of his day.  Author Steve Bersgman
