The program featured was produced by WRFG-Atlanta in 1980 by the stations founder Harlon Joye as part of the research project Living Atlanta sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities. The project is about the 1917 Great Atlanta Fire " 100 years ago " that includes interviews with people who were alive during the fire.
