The World Women's Congress for a Healthy Planet (1991) brought together women environmental activists from around the world to collaborate on a Women's Agenda 21 for saving the planet, which became lobbying points for the UN's Rio Environment and Development Summit and all environment summits since then. The monumental insights in their declaration are more important today than ever before, and yet to be fulfilled.
