Part Two: What is happening to teen's mental health? We speak with Jean Twenge, Professor of Psychology at San Diego State. In the years between 2010 - 2015, the number of US teens who felt useless and joyless (classic symptoms of depression) surged by 33%. Teen suicide attempts increased 23%. Actual teen suicides increased by 31%.
