Sinam Mohamad is a Kurdish women's rights organizer and teacher originally from Damascus in Syria. She now makes her home in Afrin, but she spent many years in Europe as the foreign representative of the Syrian Movement for a Democratic Society and Syrian Democratic Council, and now lives in Washington DC as the SDC representative to the US.
In this interview, she talks about the Turkish bombing and occupation of Afrin and the goals of the SDC and the Democratic Administration of Northern Syria for a pluralistic, decentralized socialist democracy.
