On todays show: Dan McCready, the Democratic candidate in NC's 9th Congressional District U.S. House race, withdrew his concession amid mounting evidence of GOP absentee ballot election fraud. Outgoing NC-9 Republican Rep. Robert Pittenger says he brought concerns about fraud during the primary, in which he was ousted by Republican Mark Harris, to both state and national GOP officials at the time. But Republican officials took no action after the primary, despite their decades-long false claims about voter fraud being used to justify laws that restrict voting. The Charlotte Observer has now called for a re-do of the 2018 election in NC-9, from scratch, beginning with the primary. In New York, in a newly emerging election fraud scandal, Republican and Independence Party leaders have been charged with forging signatures on nominating petitions in order to boost chances for GOP candidates. Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin and Michigan this week continued their efforts to undermine the will of the midterm voters: in Wisconsin, the GOP-gerrymandered legislature rammed through unprecedented measures in an extraordinary, overnight lame duck session " not only stripping power from the Governor, the Attorney General, and voters, but also confirming 82 appointees of outgoing Republican Governor Scott Walker to state positions in a single day, many with no public hearing whatsoever. In Michigan, GOP lawmakers debuted a new trick: passing laws early in the year to raise the states minimum wage and grant sick leave for workers to prevent them from appearing on the November ballot, and then gutting those same measures in the lame duck session when voters cannot stop them. Plus Desi Doyen has the latest 'Green News Report', with a bunch of bad news on global carbon emissions and Greenland ice melt, and encouraging news from major companies taking bold actions on climate change...  Brad Friedman, Desi Doyen
