| Nina Serrano interviews Oscar Hijuelos about his autobiography "Thoughts Without Cigarettes" and he reads some excerpts from it. Hijuelos is the first Latino author to receive the Pulitzer Prize. It was awarded for his novel, "The Mambo Kings Sing Songs of Love" which later became a Hollywood movie. The interview was held before a live audience at La Pena in Berkeley, CA in June of 2011. |
