In this episode of If You Love This Planet, Dr Helen Caldicott talks about conservation biology with self confessed 'student of anti-aging', Dr Reese Halter.
Dr Halter is a distinguished biologist who describes himself as an Earth Doctor. For more that 20 years, Dr Halter has studied Nature in both hemispheres. He currently works at the Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California.
Dr Halter founded Global Forest Science - a conservation institute that protects fragile ecosystems, short circuits ecological disasters and produces ecological education for children around the globe. He's also a broadcaster and best-selling author of 7 books, including his most recent, The Insatiable Bark Beetle, published by Rocky Mountain Books in 2011.
