| Goodman talks about Israel's murderous assault on Gaza, the nature and role of Israel, the part the US and Obama have played in these crimes, and the need for resistance everywhere. Kupers discusses the psychological effects of prison conditions, including isolated confinement in supermaximum security units, and a shocking increase in suicides among prisoners subjected to solitary confinement in these prisons. Koger, former prisoner and activist, faces 300 days in jail for video recording a statement against censorship by Sunsara Taylor at the "Ethical" Humanist Society of Chicago on November 1, 2009. Koger was brutalized by the police, arrested and convicted in Chicago. The Illinois Supreme Court has refused to hear his case and the system wants him back in jail immediately. Koger talks about his case, and how it's a threat to everyone who records protests and the actions of the police. |
