This week on From the Vault we present legendary rock duo Seals and Crofts performing live on WBAI's storied show, Free Music Store.
Although the Free Music Store show was on-air for only three years (1969-1972), it's producers had a knack for landing bands and artists just before the their rise to fame and fortune. Seals and Crofts were certainly no exception.
Still not yet a household name, and with most of their commercial hits yet to be written, Seals and Crofts took the stage at WBAI's old "church" studios on November 14, 1971 - the very first time they would ever perform in front of a live studio audience. |
