Stewart Moss is executive director of The Writer s Center (Bethesda, MD), one of the largest literary centers in the country, Stewart Moss leads an organization whose mission is to promote the creation, publication, and presentation of literary works. The Writer s Center offers 300 workshops each year covering nearly every genre of writing, plus over 70 readings and other events. Prior to coming to The Writer s Center, Stewart worked for more than thirty years as an educator and fundraiser in educational institutions around the country. An avid poet, he has taught literature and creative writing in both the USA and abroad. Scotland, Greece, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, and Nepal are among the countries in which he has lived and worked. Moss was educated at Union College (NY) and Harvard University, where he studied the relationship between culture and religion. He lives in Annapolis, MD  Grace Cavalieri: Producer/Host
