They are part of the organization Get Lit " Words Ignite and members of its elite performance troupe, the Get Lit Players. These three young poets have performed among esteemed activists including Dr. Cornel West, LA Mayor Eric Garcetti, and Maria Shriver, as well as music icons like Queen Latifah & John Legend. Their poem Somewhere in America is one of the most watched spoken word performances ever, with over 5 million views on YouTube and counting. Fusing the power of classic poetry with the spoken word movement, Get Lit reaches over 20,000 at-risk teens each year who transform their lives, families, and communities through art and social activism. Get Lit builds scholars, not statistics, and navigates Los Angeles through this youth-led revolution to let teens reclaim their educations and unearth their potential.  Grace Cavalieri: Producer/Host
